Silicon carbide is suitable for heat-treated workpieces (excluding tungsten carbide) with an HRC less than 70.
Mesh size selection:
16-80 suitable for workpieces over 4mm, including tool marks, etc.;
100-300 suitable for rough milling of 3mm threaded wires;
300-500 suitable for finish milling of medium threaded wires;
500-800 suitable for finish milling of medium threaded wires;
800 and above suitable for finish milling of slow threaded wires.
